the Kenya Twyford Factory is established by Sunda International Group, with the Volume of total investment of 30 million dollars. Located in the vicinity of Umma University, Kajiado, it covers an area of nearly 300000㎡, 10 times than the local factory. In October 2016, the plant was put into production with its large scale, new equipments and high production capacity. Owing to the technical support from world-renowned company KEDA Clean Energy and Dowstone, as well as local high quality clay, the Kenya Twyford Factory is able to achieve the high quality local production of 300mmX300mmã€400mmX400mm ceramic tiles and HD inkjet ceramic tiles etc.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the overall management of the daily IT operation and maintenance of the offices and factories.
- Implement the information construction and project implementation of ceramic factories.
- Research hardware or software products to meet technical networking or security needs.
- Manage and resolve escalated support issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT support aligns with organizational goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT systems and technologies.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to employees.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management.
- Other tasks assigned by the department HOD.
EDUCATION AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution. Atleast 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role.
KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Willingness to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, time management and communication skills.
- Master computer-related skills and knowledge, such as hardware device management, operating system, server, firewall, switch, AC, AP.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and rely feedback on time.
- High level of integrity.
- Self-motivated and can work under minimal supervision.
- Flexible work schedule (Monday-Saturday).
