Job Description
Our client, a leading Agri company in based in Naivasha is seeking to recruit an Accountant.
Based in Naivasha the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that company certificates, statutory returns and tax filing is in order, Budget Preparation and Forecasting, preparation of monthly management accounts, filing of all transactions with relevant support documents, assisting auditors in completing their audit work.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring that company certificates, statutory returns and tax filing is in order.
Budget Preparation and Forecasting.
Coordination and preparation of monthly payroll.
Follow up with the banks on payments and monthly bank reconciliations.
Payments to suppliers and Chasing receivables.
Preparation of monthly management accounts and finance reports for farms.
Assisting auditors in completing their audit work.
Fixed Asset register maintenance.
Ensuring that company certificates, statutory returns and tax filing is in order.
Qualifications:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Must have a CPA K.
Must have over 5 years’ experience as a group or senior accountant preferably in Agri.
Must be QuickBooks proficient.
Good analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.
